Convenient location and quility, best hotel in Gib according to the locals.

    Tv channels a bit limited.

    Superb

Great live music in the lobby, beautiful roof top pool!

    Dated decor

    Fabulous

The Hotel is located close to The Rock, Shopping and Museums. We needed a special convertor from the power and the Hotel provided to us. There was no charge for it.

The Restaurant rushed through our meal and the service was poor. Eat outside the Hotel if you can. We had unfortunately arrived late in the evening and were tired.

A well designed, centrally located hotel with a clean, well cared for appearance.

However a good proportion of the staff appear to lack customer service/communication skills. Also be aware the roof top restuarant and pool can close earlier than advertised and you don't necessarily get the food or drink you ordered. Also take your own hair conditioner if required, as the shampoo supplied is drying

They did not have the reservation and it took them 20 minutes to sort it out. No apology. Staff offhand and close to rude. Internet was a joke and they wanted gbp 18 to use it . The whole place had a worn out and tired feeling to it . Very much faded glory.

Location close to centre Very friendly guy on reception when checking in

Over priced for quality of accomodation Inflexible attitude - our flight was delayed and then diverted to Malaga which left us a very short time in Gib - and as we were only staying one night I politely asked if our booking could be moved to Wednesday at the end of our holiday. Despite them having rooms the 'lady' who I was passed on to said they couldn;t touch the booking as it was booked through Booked.net and I would have to contact them - I was in airport with no email/internet or tel no. We can put a man on the moon, find cures to previously incurable illnesses but this lady wouldn't change the date - they were getting paid either way - what could be difficult - but 'jobsworth' came into play ! Unfortunately that is my memory of the hotel. It was a special treat staying at this hotel as it was our 30th Wedding Anniversary . Thank you lady of O'Callaghan Elliot Hotel for making the date memorable !

Ideal for location for a weekend break in Gibraltar

Breakfast is on the expensive side

    Fabulous

This is a historical location and the hotel is in the middle of great history. The staff are good and the hotel, despite its age, is in good shape, but needs ongoing maintenance. The location is supurb, walking distance of all attractions and very peaceful at night. The terrace at night was great.

None really, but all must realize this is an older hotel in a very old and historical part of the UK/Spain. It is a bit run-down, however history buffs and romantics would enjoy staying here nonetheless.

Service was moderate price a bit exspensive and did not think it was value for money parking was ok but had to wait for space food was good but pricey and would look for a bettter deal if staying longer

Food was good and friendly service near to centre of gib

    Central location,friendly staff,clean and tidy.

Any "4 star" hotel that charges a minimum rate of £12 for 12 hours wifi connection is living in the dark ages. Looking round the hotel and rooms you can see this place really is a throwback to times long gone. History of Gibraltar is really interesting but I would rather not pay over £100 a night to sleep in it!!!

    Its Location

Lack of Staff, Charging extra for Parking & Internet. Small hotel areas for guests to enjoy, ie, Pool Area, Sun deck, restaurants, all not big enough for more than a dozen people at a time. Same charge for a room with a front view, as a room with a view of the back of other buildings / Air Con Units. No Porter.

Staff not very unhelpfull, parties on roof terrace until 2am so no sleep for two nights when we complained we were told its Christmas what do you expect so we will not be returning and would not recommend.

    Fabulous

The central location was excellent and the room was comfortable with a good view from the fifth floor.

Their approach to the internet. High costs and as I had two devices I had to buy twice so in effect the cost doubled. Breakfast was not as good as it could have been very little fresh fruit and the toaster was not effective.
